Persona 3

Since i finished playing it i thought i might talk a bit about it. It has a few things in common with visual novels too ^^

In Persona 3, the player takes the role of a male high-school student who joins the Specialized Extracurricular Execution Squad (SEES), a group of students investigating the Dark Hour, a time period between one day and the next that few people are aware of. During the Dark Hour, the player enters Tartarus, a large tower containing Shadows, creatures that feed on the minds of humans. To fight the Shadows, each member of SEES is able to summon a Persona, a manifestation of a person's inner self.

You move into the new town and the dorm where at first only three of the future SEES members already live and get to know the life there. Plus the strange things that happen at night such as the people who turn into coffins during the Dark Hour (persons w/o personas), the school turning into a giant tower full of shadows and the things called Personas etc etc. You have to go to School (no skipping possible X.x), make friends to form Social Links (these will help you get stronger Personas) and raise your stats. At night you have the chance to explore Tartarus Level by Level (in total 253) and defeat Bosses. All while unravling the Mystery as to why the Dark Hour, the Shadows and the Personas exist in the first place.

I loved this game, but the fact that you have so much to do is a bit unnerving from time to time. First, raise the stats (Academics, Courage, Charm), then get to know each social link (sometimes you only have to talk to somebody, sometimes you have to do a few things before the person appears), then level and explore etc. Plus, since i am stupid, everytime a social link calls and asks to spend time with me but i don't have time, the "He/She seemed disappointed" breaks my heart X.x

By the way, there is another Persona 3 Game out, Persona 3 FES(the last pic is from FES). You can choose to play as male or female this time, there are new Personas, new social links, new scenes and an additional storyline (The Answer). 

All in all, try it out! The Anime Cutscenes are cool and the story's mysterious, sometimes quite serious but also funny ^-^
